With the ultimate goal of getting you home in a safe and efficient manner, our expedited program prepares you for the final step in your transition. Our specialty program average length of stay ranges between 5 and 10 days. Our comprehensive physical therapy & occupational therapy evaluations deem the most appropriate length of time dependent on the individuals specialized plan of care. Enjoy peace of mind knowing all staff are educated on the most up-to-date practices for orthopedic management, care and recovery.
Our programming includes an instrumental component to a fast-recovery, education. We ensure patients and families are educated on safe recovery from their acute spell of illness, while receiving care in post-acute setting. Our educational component teaches a patient how to safely care for themselves during their recovery, preventing re-hospitalization. Our in house dietician will assist you with a simple, yet effective diet and nutritional plan to expedite your recovery.

Depending on the time of your hospital discharge and arrival to Aspen Hill Rehabilitation Center, you can expect a same day visit from our therapy team to make an initial post surgical assessment.
Your rehabilitation plan will quickly get moving with morning and afternoon multidisciplinary therapy sessions.

Jasmine M. Torrey, PA-C, graduated from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2022 with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Northeastern University where she played on the women’s lacrosse team for 4 years. Jasmine has worked in various research positions throughout hospitals in Boston prior to earning her PA-C degree; most recently she worked for 3 years researching outcomes of various treatment modalities for venous thromboembolisms in the emergency department at MGH. Outside of the office Jasmine enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and spending time with her family, friends, and new puppy.
